Neon - A simple RTS made in 48 hours at Global Game Jam 2012

At this year's Global Game Jam, I created a small Real-Time-Strategy game called "Neon." It's the simplest possible RTS, with really only one "building" type and one "unit" type. It features three levels of increasing difficulty, some slick visual effects, computer opponents, and a fantastic soundtrack courtesy of The Silk Demise (http://TheSilkDemise.com).

This year's Global Game Jam really rocked. Here are some of the stats from the event (from http://globalgamejam.org)
The fourth Global Game Jam was held January 27-29, 2012 in 242 locations worldwide. This year 10,684 individuals participated and 2,209 game projects were created. Jam sites were organized in a record 47 countries, including for the first time in Hungary, Iran, Panama, Peru, Romania and Uruguay.

Toronto really rocked out this year. There were about 60 people participating at the local jam, with many cool games made.
